Emma Wheeler

Emma Wheeler, Communications Consultant, has had a personal involvement with the British military for over 20 years, and first hand experience of the impact of war on individuals. A graduate in English and Classics from London University, she has a particular interest in the charitable sector,  developed whilst working with charity lawyers.

Emma has worked for some of the world’s leading brands, both in-house and in consultancy roles, including General Electric, Avis, Coutts, AXA and Decathlon. She currently advises a number of charities on profile-raising, stakeholder relationship building, and issues management:  Friends of the Elderly, the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting, Butterfly World Project (London’s next Eden Project), the CEO of Decathlon (world’s largest sports retailer), and last year the CEO of AXA UK on a profile raising media programme.

Emma was six years with Burson-Marsteller as an Associate Director, then set up the in-house PR team for Coutts, the global private bank.
